July 2, 2025 — The Groningen Declaration Network (The GDN Network) is pleased to announce its newest signatory and patron, Scholaro. Based in the United States, Scholaro provides credential evaluation services and software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions for international admissions and recruitment. The GDN Network is deeply appreciative of Scholaro’s patron-level support, which reflects a shared commitment to advancing digital learner mobility and contributes meaningfully to the broader digital ecosystem on an international level.
By becoming both a signatory and a patron, Scholaro demonstrates its strong and ongoing commitment to the GDN Network, supporting the goal to create a “networks of networks” model and ensuring continued alignment with the vision, statutes, bylaws, and ethical principles that guide its mission.

“Scholaro is excited to join the Groningen Declaration Network, a group focused on making academic records easier to share and understand across borders,” says Aleksander Morawski, Director, Scholaro. “We have been developing secure digital tools for credential evaluation for years, and we believe in the GDN Network’s mission to support global mobility by making qualifications easier to recognize with fairness, clarity, and transparency. I have long believed that our industry’s goal is to promote access and eliminate barriers to education, an approach that aligns perfectly with the GDN Network’s vision.”
“The GDN Network is delighted to welcome Scholaro as a formal signatory,” says Joanne Duklas, Executive Director, GDN Network. “They have been a long standing participant and contributor to our Annual Meeting and have demonstrated tremendous innovation in the credential ecosystem, helping solve real barriers for learners and credential evaluators. Their GPA translator using AI is an excellent example of their thought leadership. We are excited to see what’s next as we deepen our collaboration with them.”

With a long-standing track record in credential evaluation, digital credentialing, and international academic verification, Scholaro brings practical expertise and a shared vision to the GDN community. By promoting access to educational and recognition opportunities, Scholaro supports global learners through innovative technological solutions, such as an instant AI grading interpreter for any country, designed to simplify and enhance credential recognition to individuals, universities and organizations alike.
Scholaro joins a global community that includes higher education institutions, government agencies, edtech innovators, and thought leaders working together to ensure that learners can access and share their academic records safely and efficiently, regardless of geographic or institutional boundaries.
