Help shape the future of the Groningen Declaration Network (GDN)
The Board of the GDN welcomes nominations of individuals (or self-nominations) from across the world for four vacant GDN Board of Director (director) positions, each with a 3-year term. The deadline to submit a nomination is May 21, 2024. The appointed directors will commence their service in October 2024 at the 2024 GDN Annual Meeting in San Diego, USA.
Join the GDN Board and work globally to inspire access to education, fair qualification and credential recognition, and career mobility. The GDN works collaboratively with diverse organizations across the world to influence legislation, policies, and practices to make digital student data portability happen.
Please submit nominations using the form at the link below by May 21, 2024 at 4pm Central European Time Zone. If you nominate another person, please ensure they agree to be nominated.
Processes and Terms:
The nomination and selection process will follow the GDN Statutes. The Board of Directors holds the final decision regarding the appointments. Its selection of new directors will consider the GDN’s aspirations to advance its global reach, diversity, and inclusivity. We encourage the nomination of individuals working in postsecondary institutions, data sharing depositories and networks, and public- and NGO-sector organizations active in the field of education and qualification and credential recognition. Student nominees
are also welcome. The membership of the current Board provides an indication of the diversity and geographic reach of members, a priority of the GDN.
These are volunteer (unpaid) positions. GDN Directors are accountable for their own expenses for all meetings.
